Although 2011 started out in a bad way (my mother was repeatedly hospitalized early this year), I am still thankful for many things that happened in 2011: I was able to go to Hong Kong, the two lumps that grew in my nephew’s neck were not cancerous, and I was able to successfully shift careers late in the year.

I hope that this continued happiness will last for many more years.

I am thankful that I was finally able to finish all my requirements for my Masters Degree, so I’ll be graduating na next year!

I am thankful for my job and colleagues at work. I am learning quite a lot from them.

But most of all I am thankful for my family. I will always be thankful that I have been part of my family. I will continue to pray for my parents and brother continual health. So, Christmas is really about them anyway. ^_^ We don’t even have a Christmas tree set up this year but cliche as it may sound and I guess a bit emo to boot, but I think Christmas is a state of mind. When you continually practice to be sympathetic of others everyday, who can then say that Christmas is only celebrated once a year.
