The 4th Filipino Komiks Convention aims to bring together comic book artists/groups and publishers in a venue where they could present their talents, works and services to the public. It will showcase the creations of Filipino artists from various genres and themes and give tribute to the creators and their creations.

Avalon.ph is an exhibitor, we will be displaying our comic-related products and Moleskine Notebooks. Hope to see you there!

the event kicks of at 7pm with music from the tandem of Waps San Diego and Khavn Dela Cruz.

reading starts promptly at 7:30pm followed by the open mic. for those interested in reading, we will leave a sign up sheet with Rogel, the bar tender of mag:net cafe. please feel free to sign up and read your work.

Congratulations to Mr. Joel M. Toledo – two Palanca awards for Poetry, Meritage Press Poetry Prize in San Francisco, 2006 UK Bridport Prize 2nd place and a longtime Avalon.ph fan of eight plus years – for the release of his upcoming Poetry book (UST Press).
